Whenever you’re thinking of getting married one of the most important aspects will be the party celebrations which follow the ceremony. The term wedding favours has been used to describe the gifts which are given to guests at a wedding reception. Normally the bride and the groom from wealthy families would give out small boxes filled with sugar. The term ‘favours’ comes from the Italian word ‘bomboniere’ which means special gift.  These days’ it is common to give all manner of small gifts which are often personalised which the happy couple’s initials.
